It's a good picture, but it completely misses the point of the character. On the contrary, she's nothing like Wolverine. And portraying as a literal female version of Wolverine ruins her originality and depth she has.
As a joke picture, I DO like it. But as a serious one? The concept falls flat on it's face.
Once again I will never understand why people do this. I mean, yeah she's wolverine's clone, but not entirely, they used bits of other dna to reconstruct lost bits. So not 100% Logan. And would you really of fallen in love with the character initially or do you think she'd be so popular if she really looked like Logan? Short and hairy. I know it's sad, but that's the way things go in this world.
don't pay them any mind. He just prefers he X-23 all mopey and depressed. I on the other hand love it when artist give other characters a twist. It's refreshing and sometimes funny. This being such the case.
look like i said the artist put a spin on it and its well done to boot. also the only writer that writes lauras "moopiness" right is Yost. everyone else makes her come off as a bit robotic like they're trying too hard. i wish they'd stop writing her as nothing more than broken little emo girl with claws. give her more character have her crack a joke or two or at least a smile for god sakes. i think she just needs some juju in her life again. again great job man. ps if you can't tell i really am a fan of this character
Ha. I never understood why they didn't do something with her hair. The way they play it in the funny books is that she is, technically, in genetic terms, Wolverine's baby sister with over 100 years age difference.
