Actually, the initial drawing was done with real media -- pen, brush & ink, rather than drawn digitally. It can certainly be difficult drawing in the computer. When I had done it in the past, I remember preferring the scratchboard tool in Painter. Makes for smooth nuanced linework.
That sun in the background looks like it was a real pain to do, Heheh.
--Actually, the sun was really fun to do. It's all dry brush work.
