Kerra Holt of Dark Horse's Star Wars: Knight Errant series! The above was a commission from Boston Comic Con; created on 9x12" bristol board with Copic markers, and watercolor. It was really fun to revisit the character.

That's fascinating! It never even occured to me that watercolors would work over Copics. I need to try this out post haste!

Love It! Your colors are just great on these commissions, quick question.. you said you use copics and watercolor, Do you layer those? Like do you put copics down first then apply some watercolor or just use them in different areas to get different effects?

Yup. I do indeed layer them. Copics, then watercolors. Actually, I was going to post a scan of this commission pre-watercolor soon. So you'll be able to compare and contrast.
