Harley Quinn Panel by quin-ones Harley Quinn Panel by quin-ones
An excerpted panel from the recent Harley Quinn one-shot from DC's Joker's Asylum mini-series. I decided to add some colors over it.

Glad you like it!
I was originally going to color the whole book, as is my preference, but I was working against a fairly rigid deadline and at some point it became clear that I wouldn't have the time. I asked DC for some help in finding a colorist, and they got Alex Sinclair to work on it. He's a big time colorist for DC and I thought he did a great job.

did he try and stay with what you were doing on this page? the whole process of picking colorists and the internal workings of the business fascinate me.

Honestly I'm always hesitant about someone else coloring my work, but in both instances that I've had a colorist - here with Alex Sinclair, and previously with Javier Rodriguez from a short story I did for Marvel, I was really happy with their work. Both times I had input with the coloring direction, and in fact with this particular story, I had sent the one colored page I'd done along to Alex as a bit of a style guide. But both artists are already really amazing colorists, and I was happy to be paired with them as I felt their coloring sensibility was very close to my own.
